Jeff Vedders, Business Development

Jeff has over 11 years experience in working with economic development organizations and real estate companies, providing target industry strategies.  Prior to joining Applied Marketing, Vedders served as Vice President at Whitaker Associates.  Jeff has extensive experience in developing Target Industry Analyses, and has provided these to numerous organizations, including Baton Rouge Area Chamber, the Macon Economic Development Commission, the Georgia Allies (State of Georgia), Greater Wichita Economic Development Council in Wichita, KS and the Peninsula Alliance for Economic Development in Hampton, VA.

Jeff also has experience in data mining and database marketing techniques in the economic development, commercial and industrial real estate, and business process outsourcing fields. He served on the team that developed a powerful and sophisticated Predictive Modeling system for a leading US public accounting firm's Business Process Outsourcing division. The Predictive Modeling system prioritizes (ranks) the statistical likelihood, relative to the other prospects being monitored, of a readiness to make a positive decision to outsource one or more business processes.

Real estate organizations that Mr. Vedders has worked with include Grubb & Ellis, Colliers International, CB Richard Ellis, and Cushman Wakefield.  Vedders graduated with honors from Hope College, and has completed the Michigan Economic Development Course and several ACCRA courses.
