Leigh Howe, Partner
Leigh Ann Howe is a founding partner at Applied Marketing Sciences, a strategic business development and target marketing consulting company. Ms. Howe has over 15 years of, industry intelligence, target market research and database management experience serving economic development organization and foreign investment clients.
Ms. Howe has led target marketing and lead generation programs for numerous global organizations including economic development organizations, commercial real estate firms, power companies, consulting firms, and design/build/architecture companies. Some of the more notable projects include developing and executing a business development research program for International Business Wales (ongoing since 2005); managing the targeted research and database mining of an on-going prospecting program for the State of Pennsylvania; and developing a Lead Generation System that includes target industry analysis, target company identification, and qualification of prospects for a power company in Southeast United States.
Prior to joining Applied Marketing Sciences, Ms. Howe served as Chief Operations Officer of Whittaker Associates, Inc, an economic development consultant firm, where she directed the research operations and led numerous economic development projects, including a comprehensive industry targeting plan for Jacksonville, Florida and a 3-year prospecting program for the Trade Commission of Spain.
Ms. Howe is active in IEDC and Corenet, which includes serving on the Economic Development Committee of the Chicago chapter. Ms. Howe graduated with honors from Ball State University with a degree in Marketing and has earned her Masters of Business Administration at Michigan State University.
